Technical overview
Aiming at the problems of drilling speed up and near-drill bit support in hard formations with poor drillability and strong abrasiveness, the hydraulic impactor is a multifunctional rotary punching drilling tool based on screw motor technology. This tool can not only provide speed torque for the drill bit, but also generate the vibration and axial impact force of the whole machine, effectively promote the transmission of drilling pressure, protect the drill bit, improve the rock breaking efficiency of the drill bit, and improve the mechanical drilling speed.

How it works
In China's Dagang, Jidong, Yumen, Changqing, Shanxi, Sichuan-Chongqing shale gas and other oil and gas fields, 42 wells were applied on site, with an advance of 24,400 meters, an average speed increase of 16.8%, effectively improving the mechanical drilling speed of deep hard formations.
Field application
In Dagang, Changqing, Shanxi, Sichuan-Chongqing shale gas, CNOOC and other oil and gas fields, 28 wells were applied on site, with an advance of 23,600 meters and an average speed increase of 22.6%, effectively reducing the wear of drill bits and fatigue damage of drilling tools, improving drilling efficiency and reducing drilling tool accident rate.
